New York-based Commercial Energy Solutions Integrator Hires Project Management and Commercial Building Energy Sales Professionals for its Team
To better serve the needs of its commercial property owner and manager customers looking to turn their buildings into microgrids for their business, New York-based Edgewise Energy (www.edgewise.energy), a Commercial Energy Solutions Integrator and Aggregator, has expanded its Project Management staff.
“Edgewise Energy is pleased to welcome T.J. O’Melia and Alex Burgess to the Edgewise Energy team in our Plainview, NY offices,” said Sammy Chu, Edgewise Energy CEO.
Timothy (T.J.) O’Melia (West Islip) – Project Manager – T.J. heads up production for the company where he manages daily operations and communications. Previously, T.J. worked for Powersmith Home Energy Solutions as a customer service specialist, managing all incoming leads and training new hires while educating home owners on their options on how to lower their energy bills and make their homes more comfortable and energy efficient.
Alexander Burgess (Smithtown) – Project Finance Associate – Alex focuses on helping commercial customers develop programs around Community Distributed Generation or Community Solar. Alex provides knowledge about energy markets and resources including fossil fuels, electricity, and renewable energy resources. He holds a Bachelor of Science in the field of Sustainable Energy Management (SEM) with a focus on Renewable Energy Management from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF).
Edgewise Energy is participating in market opportunities that are currently being promoted through policies such as New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo’s NY REV initiative to satisfy the state’s energy requirements using renewable energy and energy efficiency by 2030.
